One of man’s greatest challenges is, no doubt, death and witness the end, as well as how will all of that happen. For those who lose someone dear to them, remains the sadness of the loss, the lack of understanding of the time and space where everything occurs, the way, and above all, the why. We feel are are never ready. It is always a surprise for those who stay but also can be for those who leave. Why is it like this? And why do we live in a culture that doesn’t teach or prepares us for a good death and be conscious when that moment approaches our existence? We don’t give much importance to that but that is extremely important. We don’t want to know, but when we lose the company of those close to us, we go into shock and who knows, we won’t recover for the rest of our lives. We watch death everyday and still we think that it is a reality that is not part of our lives and that we are immortal. Death became a myth which no one talks about, even being one the the most natural events in nature, just like birth is. Maybe we don’t speak about death because if we do so, we will realize how little we are in such a vast universe that will continue its ceaseless rhythm of life and death, even without us.

Death is not the end of consciousness. When we die, our conscious continues its existence in the same vibration where it was. This means that we don’t go into an enlightened state, we are only changing our form in which we vibrate in the universe, and the state of evolution we had before we left our bodies, will continue its existence in another dimension with other consciousnesses similar to ours. Imagine yourself entering an elevator and choosing the floor to which you want to go. The floor is the level of evolution your consciousness has. When you press the button, that elevador will take you exactly to the floor you chose, not one floor up or down. This is how it happens with death. We don’t win an upgrade nor we go to unfamiliar dimensions.

But often we don’t have time to press the button and chose the floor which we want to go. Often the separation from this world happens suddenly and to incorporate in the new dimension takes more time than it should. This can happen to people that have any type of sudden death, in which the soul separates itself from the body but the perception that it is still connected to the body remains, continuing therefore, its daily routine for a long period of time. No one knows for sure why this happens but there are many reports that state it is like this. We also know that not everyone crosses so slowly this intermediate state before conscious establishes itself in its new dimension and that some souls do this faster. If we realize something like this is happening to someone we know, it is vital that we pray for that person to help its soul to reach the light. Wise man say that we need to create moments in our lives during which we read spiritual books for the dead, so we can help those souls in transition. What we know is that there are many in this state and we have the power to genuinely help them in this transition.

Another fact about death, is that it represents the passage to another live and that we can’t enter our new life if we don’t die in the first place. It is at the moment of our birth that we are aware we exist, and it is in that precise moment that we create the fear of death. One thing comes with another. One of the processes I do with my clients is to support them to release their fear of death which manifests itself for the first time when we are born. The important thing to know is that if that fear is not properly attended, it will determine the quality of that person’s death as well to cause death experiences throughout his life with sudden diseases, unexpected accidents, falls, or any type of situations emotionally shocking and outstanding for the person and for those who surround her.

Let’s take in our hands, with humility, the life that has been given to us. Let’s thank everyday for the beautiful life we have as well as honour this brief passage in this fantastic planet. Let’s also embrace and acknowledge our mortality and our powerlessness to decide the moment of our departure.

It’s in moments of decision and transition that this fear emerges throughout life, blocking our path to a more fulfilling and healthy life.

Conscious Breathing and Rebirthing help us overcome this fear and embrace life with greater strength, determination, and, above all, with purpose.
